His career rests on a single conviction: powerful AI should never require handing your data away.
Physician and serial entrepreneur. Nayan has built and exited businesses across industries — founding and scaling a large ATM network before selling it for a significant profit, moving into real estate, and operating a network of doctors' offices and clinics. He pairs frontline medical experience with a builder's instinct for turning complex operations into durable, profitable ventures.
Principal Research Scientist and Manager at IBM Research, leading Model Feedback and Adoption of IBM's AI models with a focus on enterprise AI applications. Formerly a Scientist at Microsoft Research, leading research into reinforcement learning.
